Futuro Simple
Si quieres hablar de tus planes a futuro o tus sueños, deberás en todo momento usar el futuro simple. Para usarlo necesiatermos un verbo auxiliar llamado "WILL" que complementará al verbo principal en la oración. Pero primero debes conocer un poco más a detalle sus usos.
Usos:
➥ Para hablar de acciones confirmadas en un futuro
• I will buy sugar for the pie. → Compraré azúcar para el pastel.
• She will travel to Madrid next month. → Ella viajará a Madrid el siguiente mes.
➥ Cuando tomamos desiciones espontáneas o hacemos promesas
• I will love you forever. → Te amaré por siempre.
• I will travel around the world when I turn eighteen. → Viajaré alrededor del mundo cuando cumpla dieciocho.
• I promised my mom I will sing in the familiar karaoke. → Le prometí a mi mamáque cantaré en el karaoke familiar.
• I'll have cereal for breakfast. → Desayunaré cereal en el desayuno.
• She'll call her mother tomorrow. → Ella llamará a su madre mañana.
➥ Cuando accionamos voluntariamente
• Amanda will clean up her room tonight. → Amanda limpiará su habitación esta noche.
• I will help Amanda with her homework. → Ayudaré a Amanda con su tarea.
➥ Cuando hacemos ofertas o negociaciones
• I will do your final project and you will pay me two dollars. → Haré tu proyecto final y tú me pagarás dos dolares.
Ahora que ya conoces sus usos, es momento de aprender su estructura gramatical.
Estructura en Positivo
Sujeto + Verbo Auxiliar Will + Verbo Principal en infinitivo + Complemento
Ejemplo:
• I will buy a house when I grow up. → Compraré una casa cuando crezca.
• María will dance and sing in the play. → María bailará y cantará en la obra.
• We will deliver the new car to our daughter. → Entregaremos el nuevo carro a nuestra hija.
• You will call me tomorrow, and Mary will call me today. ⟶ Me llamarás mañana y Mary me llamará hoy.
Estructura en Negativo
Sujeto + Auxiliar Will + Not + Verbo Principal + Complemento
Ejemplo:
• I will not buy you a bike. → No te comparé una bicicleta.
• Kevin will not consider your opinion at the meeting. → Kevin no considerará tú opinión en la reunión.
• She will not watch the final show. → Ella no mirará el espectáculo final.
• They won't go to the school trip. → Ellos no irán al viaje escolar.
Existe la contracción de Will Not, reduciendose así: Won't.
Estructura Interrogativa Positiva
Auxiliar Will + Sujeto + Verbo Pricipal + Complemento?
Ejemplo:
• Will you help me with my homework? ➝ ¿Me ayudarás con mi tarea?
• Will Karl buy a house? → ¿Karl comprará una casa?
• Will you call me later? → ¿Me llamarás despúes?
Estructura Interrogativa Negativa
Auxiliar Will + Not + Sujeto + Verbo Principal + Complemento?
Ejemplo:
• Won't you call me soon? ➝ ¿No me llamarás pronto?
• Won't she clean her bedroom? → ¿Ella no limpiará su habitación?
Estructura Interrogativa Wh/Q:
Wh/Q + Auxiliar Will + Sujeto + Verbo Principal + Complemento?
Ejemplo:
• What will you do tomorrow? → ¿Qué harás mañana?
• Who will win the race? → ¿Quién ganará la carrera?
• When will your mother arrive? → ¿Cuándo llegará tu madre?
En el caso de "Who" debes omitir el sujeto, ya que estamos preguntando por él y no sabemos quién es.
Recuerda que las contracciones se utilizan de manera informal, y se forman elimando una letra o agregando una apóstrofe, mira las diversas contracciones que tiene este verbo auxiliar/verbo modal.
I + will → I'll
You + will → You'll
He + will → He'll
She + will → She'll
It + will → It'll
We + will → We'll
You + will → You'll
They + will → They'll

Will + not → Won´t
